Our consignment for the Select Seven Sale didn’t disappoint, with our lead gimmer, PFD1903130, selling for 46,000gns and setting a new record price for an in-lamb Texel.

Taking the day’s top call, this gimmer is a daughter of the 100,000gns Sportsmans Batman and sold carrying twins to the 350,000gns Sportsmans Double Diamond.

She is out of a dam by Strathbogie Ya Belter and sold with an index in the top 10% of the breed. She sold in a split deal to the Boden family’s Sportsmans flock, Cheshire and the Barclay family’s Harestone flock, Aberdeenshire.

Two of our gimmers then followed at 9000gns. First at this money was PFD1903234, a Batman daughter out of a dam by the 65,000gns Teiglum Younggun and in-lamb to Double Diamond. Carrying twins she was the pick of N Gill, Keswick.

The other at this level was PFD1903139. Again by Batman and out of a Younggun daughter she headed to Aberdeenshire with the Knox family for their Haddo flock and is in-lamb to Llyfni Droog.

And close behind was an 8000gns call for of PFD1903197. This Batman daughter is out of a Younggun dam and sold scanned a single to Llyfni Droog. Buying her was David Morrison, Dalwyne.
