The Procters flock has six top drawer in-lamb gimmers forward at this year’s Select Seven Sale, Lanark, on Saturday 8thDecember.
We are honoured to have been invited to join this year’s sale and thank the regular consigners for this opportunity.
The first gimmer in our consignment is PFD1701566, a daughter of the 70,000gns Teiglum Younggun an out of a dam by the exceptional Kelso record holder, Scrogtonhead U Stoater. She goes back to Tullagh Neptune and sells with an index of 355 and having been AI’d to the 100,000gns Carlisle champion Sportsmans Batman.
Second in is PFD1701618, another by Younggun and out of another U Stoater daughter. She is from the same family as our first one in and also goes back to Tullagh Neptune. This one is again offered in-lamb to Sportsmans Batman and has an index of 375. Her granddam is the noted Procters Sugarbabe, a prolific show winner and dam of the Royal Welsh interbreed winner Procters Ulrika.
Next up is PFD1701576. She is another by Younggun and is out of an Anglezarke Uno daughter. Selling with an index of 350, she goes back to Claybury Legacy and is maternal sister to the second prize ewe lamb at the Highland this year. She again sells in-lamb to Batman.
Following her is PFD1701973 a triplet-born daughter of Younggun out of a dam by the Lanark champion Tophill Union Jack. She goes back to Sportsmans Scania and again sells in-lamb to Sportsmans Batman.
Then comes PFD1701811, an Anglezarke Uno daughter out of the noted Sugarbabe and with an index of 331. She goes back to Tullagh Neptune and is offered carrying twins to Batman.
Teiglum Younggun is again the sire of the final gimmer forward, PFD1701568. She’s out of a dam by the record priced Kelso purchase Scrogtonhead U Stoater and going back to the 26,000gns Ettrick Rhianna, herself by the noted Knock Papoose. She is also in-lamb to Batman.
All gimmers are scrapie genotype ARR/ARR, with the flock scrapie monitored and all gimmers eligible for export from the sale. All gimmers offered are on the Heptavac P system and have been Footvaxed, Enzovaxed and Toxovaxed, they are all insured for three months from the fall of the hammer.
